Morning Everyone!

Today is the first day of the 31 Day Challenge that I’m doing with Sam and Cris. My first task is red nails. I have such a small amount of red polish so you’d think it would have been easy for me to just grab one and go. But then I started obsessing over WHICH red I would use and I ended up just staring at all my polish in a stupor for 20 minutes, hah! I finally decided to go with Emberstone by Orly. Emberstone is part of their recently released Mineral FX collection, and was the one I fell in love with from pictures I’d seen of it at Cosmoprof. Well enough blabbing, onto the photos! :-D

Emberstone is a gorgeous coral red filled with orange and fuchsia shimmer. This one is a beauty and looks positively STUNNING in the sun. :-D This is three thin coats, but two would be fine.

I love the fact that Emberstone will sometimes flash a coral-y red-orange at certain angles. Initially I thought my white balance was off but it’s just a trick of light mixing with my skin tone. ;-)

And here’s a macro-shot, because… Well… I just really love macro shots! :-D
